BRISTOL
A busy Autumn in the South West:
Halloween event
A suitably gothic Halloween event was had by the Bristol & South West
Group at Knifesmith Gallery, Christmas Steps, Bristol. The artwork on show
was by UK artist NOM and focused on female characters and the world around
them - a world full of precious objects, secrecy and hopeful magic. To celebrate
Women’s Enterprise Day the Group held a discussion forum on Thursday
19 November 2009 at the offices of Clarke Willmott, Bath Street, Bristol BS1
6BA. The event was sponsored by Compass Costs. The Bristol & South West
Group also held a Christmas Bazaar on Wednesday 2 December, at Goldbrick House,
Bristol. This was a special event for members and their guests as a thank
you for their support during the year.
Members came along, relaxed and enjoyed a glass (or two!) of wine and some
fantastic canapés whilst browsing the gifts for sale by local retailers.
The Bazaar was sponsored by Michael Page Recruitment and Wesleyan for Lawyers.
The Group is planning lots more interesting and varied events for 2010 so
now is a good time to join!
If you are interested in attending the event or if you would like some further
information about membership of the Bristol & South West AWS please contact
